Our trade
Hulk Labour Hire Services was formed in 2015 to answer a quiet frustration heard across every foreman we knew: the labour market had grown, but the standard had shrunk. Crews arrived late, or not at all. Enquiries went unanswered. Nobody was accountable for the morning.
So we built a company around the three virtues we felt were missing — customer service, reliability, dependability — and set them as the only measurable we cared about. Not headcount. Not margin. The morning.
In under a decade our client base has more than tripled. We now operate across Victoria and New South Wales with a permanent roster of tradies, labourers, and foremen — most of whom we've known for years.

"The measure of a labour hire firm isn't the size of its book. It's whether the phone gets answered before the second ring."
— Founding note, 2015
The standard
Every worker on our books has been on a job site with us — not just a copy of their ticket in a file.
Confirmations go out the night before. If plans change on our end, we call. If they change on yours, we absorb it.
You'll speak to the same coordinator for every booking. No queue, no re-explaining the site, no chasing.
